WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN VISTA UU

NURTURE YOUR SPIRIT

Hello Visitor to MVUU,

We are so glad you found us.

We are a community of seekers, scientists, activists, mystics, atheists, humanists, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and religious pluralists. We believe that it matters that we come together with our differences and with courageous love, open-hearted engagement, and a willingness to be transformed by the relationships we find.

We meet in-person and online each Sunday at 10:30AM. You can find us on Zoom (join our newsletter to get a link in your inbox each Friday) or come to our beautiful new home on Orange Grove Blvd. We look forward to greeting you online or in-person. Each Sunday, we provide children’s activities and care for children ages 2-10– we welcome our littlest ones and our teens in the sanctuary for service.

Beyond Sunday, there are many ways to engage with MVUU. You can watch previous services on our YouTube or hang out with us at “coffee hour,” attend classes, or join small groups — all available via Zoom or in-person.

To start getting our newsletter that has links to these events, contact our Congregational Administrator at 520.579.7094 or [email protected] or better yet, complete our Welcome Form

You are welcome here. We welcome your beliefs, we welcome your lived experience, we welcome your family. We celebrate our diversity of gender, sexuality, race, class, ability, and belief. If you are already a Unitarian Universalist new to the area, we welcome you home. If you are new to Unitarian Universalism, we invite you in.

At MVUU, our members strive to nurture each other’s spirit through spiritually and ethically grounded community. As UUs, we have no dogma or creed requirements, but rather support each other in each member’s individual search for truth and meaning.

We also share many values that see us actively working for social justice in our community, our state, our nation and the world. Sometimes we respond through our own action and sometimes through donations to carefully selected organizations. We seek more meaningful approaches to living our values in our day-to-day lives.

MVUU is a warm and welcoming congregation, curious and open hearted. We look forward to meeting you.

We, the members of Mountain Vista UU, welcome you.
