Rev. Matthew Funke Crary

Minister

Rev. Matthew joins MVUU mid-July 2022 as our newly called minister. Born and raised in Tucson, he spent time in the midwest and on both coasts learning the craft of ministry in seminary and through serving several congregations. He returned to the Tucson area nine years ago with his partner, Stephanie, and five sons. “I’m thrilled to grow and deepen the relationships we’ve started over the years,” he says of his call to MVUU: “Joining in MVUU’s mission to ‘Engage. Love. Transform.’ in service to our faith community and surrounding area is a blessing I’m deeply honored to share in.”
